It also engages in the production of composite panels and related products; residential construction, utility construction, project development, and renovation activities; supply of timber products and building materials; sale of medical and hearing aid products; greenhouse construction; investment in GHG reduction projects and grade bonds; and mortgage funding. In addition, the company operates temporary staffing agency; optical retail chain; greenhouse projects; BNR Nieuwsradio radio station; and gas tankers. Further, it engages in the design, build, installation, and operation of offshore floating facilities; publishing of the financial newspaper Het Financieele Dagblad; manufacture and distribution of optical frames and sunglasses; development and rental of retail centers, multi-family properties, and office buildings; and the provision of financial assets, including marketable securities and cash-equivalent instruments. HAL Trust was founded in 1873 and is based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
